The Canterbury 1,500 pocket sprung mattress has five layers of fillings on each side including: lamb’s wool and cotton layers. It features two rows of hand side stitching and is finished with the unique ‘To Catch A Dream’ damask cover.

Cashmere

Wool
Lambswool is used as a hard wearing resilient filling giving long lasting comfort and support to any quality mattress.
Horse Hair
One of the most traditional fillings used in the production of mattresses. Horse Hair adds a superior quality to any fine mattress.
Bonnel Spring
The ‘Bonnel Spring’ is the most commonly used spring in the production of mattresses and can be manufactured in a number of firmness grades.
Pocket Spring
Each spring is individually encapsulated within its own pocket, this allows the springs to move independently moulding themselves to the contours of the body.
Memory Foam
We use ‘High Density Visco Elastic’ in the production of some of our mattresses, this alleviates pressure on the body allowing for a better night's sleep.
Hand Side-Stitching
Genuine hand side stitched by our master craftsman creating a stronger mattress structure, linking the spring and border of the mattress for better support and comfort.
Hand Made Bases
Manufactured from the best materials available, our Divans are glued, pinned and screwed where necessary and are built to last.
Kiln Dried Timber
The timber is sourced from managed forests, kiln-dried the traditional way. This prevents the bed frames from warping or twisting.

All the timber used in our base frames are sourced from sustainable, managed forests.
